Terms of service
The agreement between you and Deskly. Written to be read once and understood.
Last updated 2026-09-23
A working draft. It describes what Deskly actually does today, but it has not been through a lawyer yet - treat it as our intent, not as cleared legal wording.
The service
Deskly provides a virtual office: spatial presence, audio and video rooms, whiteboards, chat, recording, time tracking and integrations with issue trackers. We provide it as it is described on this site, and we will tell you before we remove something you rely on.
Your account and your workspace
A workspace belongs to the organisation that created it, not to the person who happened to sign up. Its admins control who may enter.
- You are responsible for what the people in your workspace do with it.
- Keep your credentials to yourself; tell us promptly if you think an account has been taken over.
- One seat is one person. Sharing a login is not a substitute for a seat.
Your content
Everything you put into Deskly stays yours - notes, messages, files, recordings. You grant us only the permission needed to store it, show it to the people in your workspace, and back it up. We claim nothing else.
Recording
Recording is a workspace setting, and where it is on, meeting rooms are recorded when people are in them. You are responsible for telling the people in your workspace, and any guests, that this is happening, and for having whatever consent your jurisdiction requires.
Acceptable use
Do not use Deskly to break the law, to harass people, to send malware, or to try to reach parts of another workspace. We may suspend a workspace that does, and we will say why.
Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in the currency shown at checkout. Prices can change; if they do, we will tell you before your next period.
Not paying eventually means the workspace drops to the Free plan. We do not delete your data for non-payment without telling you first.
Ending it
You can stop at any time, and you keep the rest of the period you have paid for. We can end an account for a serious breach of these terms, or with reasonable notice otherwise.
Liability
Deskly is provided without warranties beyond those the law requires. Our liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
